Our Story
This app started as a conversation every Ismaili has had. Sometimes with a parent. Sometimes with a friend, quietly, in the corner of a jamatkhana hall while everyone else had chai:
“Where do I actually meet someone who gets my life?”
The big dating apps were never built with us in mind. They don’t understand what jamat means, why family has a seat at the table, or how much shared values actually carry. And the broader matrimony sites tend to file us under “Muslim” and miss everything that makes being Ismaili its own particular, wonderful thing.
So we stopped waiting for someone else to build it.
ISMA is a matrimony app that actually knows who we are. Finding a partner shouldn’t feel like a chore or a background check — it should feel like home. Joyful, respectful, safe, and ours. We bring together Ismailis from across the world in a private, trusted space where real connections happen.
We’re not a tech company that happens to serve the community. We’re the community that happened to build some tech.
