Our Story
ISMA was born from a conversation many Ismailis have had — often quietly, sometimes with a parent, sometimes with a friend at a jamat event: “Where do I find someone who truly understands my life?”
General dating apps were never built with us in mind. They don’t understand the significance of jamat, the role of family in our marriages, or why shared Ismaili values matter so deeply to us. Mainstream matrimony sites lump us in with broader Muslim communities, missing the nuances that make Ismaili culture so distinct.
So we built something different.
